Andrew and Laurel Quady attended the 4th Annual San Francisco International Chocolate Show at Fort Mason, joining over 4,000 attendees and 80+ confectioners, chocolatiers, and wineries. And they made quite an impression.
Winning Wines Pair Well with Chocolate
Tasting their way through vast selection of chocolates, wines and confections, attendees honored the standout offerings in several categories. Quady wines were singled out in the “Attendees Choice Awards” in the Wine & Beverage category winning:
- Gold - Best Wine in Salon
- Silver - Best Wine with Chocolate
- Bronze - Best Wine with Food
- Honorable Mention - Best New Find (Beverage)
Andrew & Laurel Quady had the opportunity to personally introduce their world famous Dessert Wines & Starboard (Quady’s Port alternative) to scores of new fans. Pouring for a steady line at the booth during the eight-hour event, Andrew still managed to capture the attendees’ comments. Historic Fort Mason
Set in Golden Gate National Park, Ft. Mason provided a dramatic home for the precedent-setting sweep for Quady Winery. Previously known as “Post at Point San Jose” Fort Mason was a fortified military base and US Army West Coast HQ back in 1776. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1985 due to its significance during World War II. Now, Fort Mason hosts over 15,000 events and attracts more than 1.5 million visitors annually.
